Bar & Bat Mitzvahs on Chicago’s North Shore
However Much Help You Want, One Team

Plan It
An experienced producer carries your celebration from vision to vendors to the day itself: the venue, the timeline, the kids’ entertainment, the dessert table, and the details connecting it all. Choose full-service planning from the start or partial planning when you are already underway.

Run the Day
You’ve planned every detail for months. Our day-of coordinators run the party: the timeline, the vendors, the cues from candle lighting to last dance, so you’re in the photos, not behind the scenes.

Staff It
Trained servers, bartenders, captains, and kitchen staff for the celebration you and your caterer built. For kosher and kosher-style events, TSE assigns personnel prepared to work within the service plan established for the event.

From Candle Lighting to Last Dance
A bar or bat mitzvah often brings adult hospitality, youth entertainment, family traditions, and a detailed service timeline into one room. Depending on whether you hire TSE for planning, coordination, staffing, or a combination, the confirmed scope may include:
The Room
Setup support for adult tables, youth areas, dessert displays, and the dance floor, where included in the event plan.
Youth and Adult Service
Where the staffing plan calls for it, the captain can coordinate youth stations and adult service as parallel parts of one operation.
The Bar
BASSET-certified bartenders for the adults, mocktails and soda bars for the kids, all watched carefully.
Kosher-Conscious Service
TSE assigns trained personnel to follow the handling, separation, equipment, and service instructions established by the family, caterer, venue, or supervising authority.
Grand Finale
The staffing plan can include breakdown, keepsake organization, leftover packaging, and final space hand-back; the proposal should define what the team completes before departure.

Trained for Your Traditions
Kosher-conscious staffing means the service team follows the kosher or kosher-style plan established for the event. TSE staff do not certify food, determine religious compliance, replace a mashgiach, or provide rabbinic oversight. Before the event, responsibilities, work areas, equipment expectations, handling instructions, and the appropriate point of authority should be clear to the assigned team.
“I planned a bar mitzvah in less than three months at a venue that required me to bring in everything. I was about to give up when my sister-in-law recommended That Special Event. They saved my party and coordinated everything seamlessly. Jerry and his staff are exceptional, and Jerry was able to help me stay calm with several alternate plans in case of predicted severe thunderstorms during my indoor/outdoor event. Our bar mitzvah was spectacular, and I owe much of the success to That Special Event.”
Angie
“The staffing for our grandson's Bar Mitzvah was outstanding! The group was led by Brian Schreiber. He is incomparable! Brian took full responsibility to alleviate any of our concerns and responsibilities.”
